v2.5.4

What's New in 2.5.4

Only the Words You Wanted

You snap a photo of a page to save one paragraph — and text recognition hands you the whole thing. The heading, the caption, the footnote, the sign in the background. Picking out the exact spot you actually wanted was hard, and you’d end up reading through text you never asked for just to delete it.

Not anymore. Now you can crop before recognizing: drag the frame over just the part that matters, run recognition on that area alone, and what lands in your memo is only the text you wanted. You also choose what happens to the photo — keep the cropped version, or the original as it was. And when the whole photo is what you want, scanning it in full is still one tap away.
