Photo & Video Capture

You can add several photos or short videos to a single memo. The built-in camera supports common zoom presets (0.5x / 1x / 2x) plus pinch-to-zoom for finer framing.

Added in version 2.4.0, the shutter is silent — Sanpou uses video data output to capture stills without the usual camera click, so you can take photos discreetly when the moment calls for it.

Viewing Captured Media

In the memo detail view, tap any thumbnail to open a full-screen media carousel. Long-press to share. The carousel makes it easy to flip through a memo’s visuals one at a time.

Extracting Text from a Photo

Tap an attached photo to open it full-screen and you’ll find a “Read text” button on the preview. Use it to pull text out of a sign, menu, or book page you photographed — see Text from Photos for the full flow.
